Sree Navaneetha Gopalakrishna Swamy Temple, Perinkulam is located at South Village of Perinkulam a centuries old Agraharam consisting Three villages at Palakkad District of Kerala.The temple is an old one having a legacy believed to be of 600 years, constructed according to the Kerala temple architecture.The temple is owned and managed by Perinkulam Grama Jana Samooham and the rituals are performed as per “Agama Saasthra Vidhi”.
Legend says and it has been repeatedly mentioned in the ensuing devaprashnams to date, that the Perinkulam Sree Krishna temple was consecrated out of His divine intervention. A dream come true, a living embodiment of Krishna Consciousness, the divine and the devoted, a cause to spiritual enlightenment of His devotee.

Nirmalya in Hinduism is the overnight remains of the flowers, leaves and other offering to a deity in Hindu temple. Devotees having darshan of deity during the bathing is known as Nirmalya Darshan.
An abhiṣheka is conducted by priest by bathing the image of the deity being worshipped, amidst the chanting of mantras. On normal days with Gingelly oil, milk and water.
